Dr. Aharon Amir is an expert in plastic surgery and has a rich and diverse experience in complex reconstruction surgeries in general, and in particular in the surgeries of head and neck area, breast and aesthetic surgeries. With over 20 years of experience in complex reconstructions in Israel and around the world, Dr. Amir draws on his rich experience in microsurgery techniques to ensure advanced and effective processes. Throughout his career, Dr. Amir has helped thousands of patients with extremely complex conditions, especially in the head and neck areas. A combination of excellent capabilities and an integrative approach has led to significant and long-term benefits to his patients’ lives. His unique vision is based on a strong belief in the connection between the physical and mental state of a patient. The more accurate the response to the patient’s general condition in the present, the greater the chances of full recovery and a healthy life in the long run.
For three years, Dr. Amir has coordinated advanced studies in plastic surgery for interns as part of the Advanced Studies School at the Sackler Faculty of Medicine of the Tel Aviv University. He is a member of the Israeli Society of Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery, and has, for two years, served as chair of the Certification Examination Committee for Specialization in Plastic Surgery on behalf of the Scientific Council of the Israeli Society of Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Amir is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery. He has attended and gave lectures at more than 150 conferences in Israel and abroad and has authored and contributed to the writing of more than 30 articles published in medical journals.
