In his professional past, Dr. Wolf had graduated with honors from the IDF Medical Officers course, served in the IDF in the rank of major as a combat medic, commanding officer in the “Shaldag” and a chief medical officer in the “Egoz” special unit. In 2004, Dr. Wolf received a “medal of appreciation” for treating wounded under enemy fire at the Gaza Division, and took part in operational duties during the Second Lebanon War.
Exposure to the wounded in combat and to serious injuries, which often left patients with severe physical disabilities, and not in the least – mental disabilities, led Dr. Wolf to choose his vocation in the wonderful field of reconstructive plastic surgery, which combines reconstructive surgery with aesthetic approach and principles.
During his specialization in the US, Dr. Wolf has studied complex reconstructive and micro surgeries following removal of tumors in the head and neck, breast, abdominal and lower limb reconstructions, and has gained experience in the latest and most advanced techniques in the field. When not holding the surgeon’s scalpel, Dr. Wolf is a husband and a father of three daughters, active in sports and an art lover. As a challenge seeker and in light of his vast experience in field medicine, he was dispatched to serve as the chief physician of the second season of “Hisardut” (Survivor TV series) reality show.

“Medicine for me is an art – one that incorporates body and mind into the whole. I always place the patient at the center of the action, and believe that the patient and the environment that supports them have a vital role in the physical recovery process. Therefore, the medical procedure is performed in full cooperation with the patient and their family, with discussion and understanding of the desired effects and the expected process along the way.
In my view – every patient deserves a personal treatment, a detailed and a meticulous adjustment of the procedure to their personal needs. I invest a lot in the smallest details, the planning and execution, starting from the counseling phase and all the way to the post-treatment observation. The training I underwent helps me through the entire process of making professional decisions – “Evidence-based Medicine” is the guiding principle, meaning that treatments are based on the most updated contemporary medical literature and guidelines existing in the field.
