Upon graduation from medical school, Dr. Friling specialized in ophthalmology at the Soroka Hospital, and continued her fellowship in strabismus surgery for children and adults at a prestigious medical institution in Melbourne, Australia.
Dr. Friling has authored and co-authored dozens of research papers in the leading scientific press in the field, and has given lectures at over dozens of conferences in Israel and around the world. Thanks to the academic and research activities, she holds the title of a senior lecturer at the Tel Aviv University. She also served as chair of the Department of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus from 2005-2008.
Dr. Friling has worked for over 15 years as a senior pediatrician and surgeon in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Schneider Pediatric Center. At the same time, Dr. Friling provides medical services in her area of expertise at her private clinic. Dr. Friling performs the private surgeries at the Assuta Hospital in Tel Aviv Ramat ha-Hayal.
Over the years, Dr. Friling has developed a wealth of skill and experience, performing dozens of strabismus surgeries every month and hundreds in a year. Significant learning, relentless curiosity and uncompromising professionalism, combined with the ability to see the patient wholly, make Dr. Friling a leading ophthalmologist in her field.
