Dr. Geist graduated from the Hebrew University, Hadassah, Jerusalem, and specializes in obstetric medicine at the Shaarei Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem.
At the end of her specialization, Dr. Geist had traveled to Toronto, Canada to the Hospital for Sick Children for advanced studies in pediatric and adolescent gynecology and clinical pharmacology. Upon her return, she worked as a senior physician in the Obstetrics Department of the Shaarei Zedek Medical Center. Dr. Geist then did advanced studies in the field of urogynecology and the pelvic floor at the Ichilov Hospital.
After moving, Dr. Geist had worked for a number of years at the Ichilov Obstetrics Department and had established a pediatric and adolescent gynecology clinic, first at the Lis Maternity Hospital and later at the Dana Pediatric Hospital.
Dr. Geist works as a senior consultant in the fields of urogynecology, intrauterine surgery and pediatric and adolescent gynecology at the Maccabi Central District.
Dr. Geist has served as chair of the Israeli Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology until 2017.

In recent years, Dr. Geist has become interested in the field of rehabilitative vaginal surgery.
Experience in the field of urogynecology and the pelvic floor provides her with the tools necessary to have extensive knowledge of the vaginal area and the disorders which can occur there.
Her rich experience in pediatric and adolescent gynecology has led her to become well acquainted with the issues that trouble adolescent and young adult girls in their intimate areas.
Dr. Geist performs surgery for pelvic floor disorders (prolapse, age-related dysfunction, urinary incontinence disorders), vaginal plastic surgery (labiaplasty, vaginoplasty) and hymen reconstruction.
Member of the Israeli Society for Pelvic Floor and Urogynecology and the Israeli Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Geist gives lectures on the topics of pediatric and adolescent gynecology and instructs interns in family medicine and pediatrics at this HMO, and others. Manages the field of pediatric and adolescent gynecology of the advanced studies program at the Tel Aviv University.
