Dr. Yuval Gialchinski graduated in medical studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Specialization in obstetrics and gynecology at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. After the specialization, Dr. Gialchinski has undergone a full fellowship course in the field of fetal medicine at King’s College Hospital in London. During this time he was guided and trained by Prof. Nicholaids, one of the world’s leading specialists in the field of fetal medicine, had acquired the expertise for diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of fetal diseases and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Gialchinski has undergone training and certification to perform pregnancy ultrasound tests to diagnose abnormal fetal conditions. Certified for performing invasive pregnancy examinations, such as: amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling. Dr. Gialchinski has undergone training for performing intrauterine fetal surgery, exclusive of its kind in the world.
Upon his return to Israel, Dr. Gialchinski had established the Intrauterine Surgery Center for Fetal Treatment at the Hadassah Ein-Kerem Medical Center.
Dr. Gialchinski currently serves as a senior physician in the Department of Obstetrics, heads the Center for Fetal Medicine and manages the services for amniocentesis and invasive fetal procedures at the Beilinson Hospital.
