Graduated from the Tel Aviv University Medical School. Specialized in plastic surgery at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, one of the leading departments of its kind in the country. Dr. Itzikson had also undergone specialization in aesthetic plastic surgery in Paris, together with world-renowned surgeons, experts in the field of aesthetic facial and chest surgery.
Dr. Itzikson currently serves as a senior surgeon in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Hadassah Ein-Kerem Hospital. In this capacity he specializes in facial reconstruction, including reconstruction of the nose, eyelids, lips, and cleft in babies. Today, he focuses on the topic of breast reconstruction and performs breast surgery using the world’s most advanced and innovative methods. As part of his work at the hospital, Dr. Itzikson is engaged in research and teaches at the Hebrew University’s Faculty of Medicine.
In parallel to his work at the hospital, Dr. Itzikson also runs a private clinic. There he performs every aesthetic surgery, including: chest surgery (breast surgery), facial surgery, body shaping, nose surgery, Botox injection.
As a result of his rich experience and reputation for his professional work, Dr. Itzikson is invited to lecture at international conferences. In 2004, he was a visiting lecturer at a US conference on aesthetic facial reconstruction in San Diego, California, and in February 2008 he was invited to perform demonstrative surgery at a university hospital in Bucharest.
