Dr. Shalev believes that good treatment begins with listening to patient complaints, getting to know them and to know what troubles them. Only then should a thorough examination be performed and discussion of the appropriate ways to resolve the problem be held. Treatment should be tailored to each patient individually, as there is difference between patients in many aspects: the nature of the condition, background, profession, personal preferences, etc. All these must be taken into account in order to find the ideal solution for each patient.
