Prof. Menachem Noiman has been practicing pelvic floor medicine since 1987, while working alongside the late Prof. Rami Langer, who was a pioneer of urogynecology in Israel and was the first to open the field for practice at the Asaf ha-Rofe Hospital in Zrifin. After completing his specialization, Prof. Menachem Noiman has established a urogynecological service at the Shaarei Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, where he had developed the Community Service for Pelvic Floor Medicine – at the Klalit HMO. Later, Prof. Noiman has established the Urogynecological Service at the Galilee Hospital. Prof. Noiman instructs and guides specialist doctors and interns in diagnosing and treating pelvic floor disorders, and treats Israeli women.
Prof. Noiman has published over 100 medical research articles in leading professional journals and is recognized as an expert in his field in Israel and around the world. He actively participates in the development of innovative treatment techniques in the field, including breakthrough findings.
Most of Prof. Noiman’s clinical activity takes place in the center of the country: he has been practicing in his clinic in Rishon LeTzion for three decades, performs urinal incontinence surgery and pelvic organ prolapse in women at Assuta, Merav and Medica hospitals. To date, Prof. Noiman has performed surgeries on close to 8,000 women suffering from urinary incontinence and over 3,000 women with pelvic organ prolapse, and has in general treated over 40,000 women with urogynecological disorders.
Prof. Noiman devotes his time to training colleagues, both from Israel and abroad, in the field of urogynecology. Prof. Noiman has been invited over 100 times to demonstrate advanced surgery in this field at the hospitals of most European countries – from Russia to Belgium, in South Africa, South America and the Far East.
Prof. Noiman is a member of the Hungarian Scientific Association, President of the International Society for Pelviperineology, and a member of other international societies in this field.
