Prof. Kramer Israel

Graduated from the Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem and specialized in ophthalmology at the Beilinson Hospital, Rabin Medical Center.

Professor Kramer has specialized in eye pathology at London’s Moorfields Eye Hospital, specialized in corneal diseases and surgery, including corneal transplantation and refractive surgery at the Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, USA, and has since joined the corneal transplant and front segment surgeon team of the Beilinson Hospital Ophthalmology Department.

One of the pioneers of laser surgery for eyeglasses removal, Professor Kramer is engaged in clinical research on this topic and serves as a member of the organizing committee of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Professor Kramer also teaches training courses for physicians in laser surgery for eyeglasses removal and gives lectures on this topic at conferences. In addition, Professor Kramer is an expert on cataract surgery and intraocular lens transplantation.
